After years of absence, the Calliaqua Culture Pot has returned.
The East St. George Culture Pot was relaunched on Friday, September 25, under the theme “One Pot, Many Flavours, A Taste of Agriculture.”
Chairman of the East St. George Steering Committee, Akin John, says the initiative previously provided a platform for cultural performers and creatives to showcase their talents while entertaining the public.
John says the decision to bring back the Culture Pot was driven by the passion of Minister Lavern Velox-Gibson.
He says the initiative is expected to continue making a positive impact on the community.
The organizers are hoping the return of the Culture Pot will once again create opportunities for local talent while bringing the community together.
